Who we are
Pride in Sheffield is the LGBTQ+ organisation in Sheffield dedicated to delivering Pride and events throughout the year. We are a not-for-profit organisation.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you complete one of the contact forms on our site, your data will be held securely until you request it's deletion. This can be done at any time by emailing email@example.com. If your details have changed since you completed the contact form, you may also update your details by emailing the same address.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
We will not share your data with any third parties outside of Pride in Sheffield.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
We may want to keep in touch with you from time to time, if you have provided us with your contact details It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are up to date. If you no longer want us to keep in touch with you or want details you have provided to us deleting, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will securely delete your details.
How we protect your data
Any data about you, you provide will be kept securely and by default only the Secretary, Co-Chairs,Treasurer and Media & Marketing officers will have access to the information store.
What data breach procedures we have in place
Any time your data is accessed a log is kept of that access, any unauthorised access will be reported immediately to the appropriate statutory body.
